Cancellations & No-Shows

We require 1 business days' notice for cancellations. Appointments canceled with less than 1 business days' notice will be charged the full session fee.
Insurance

Immigration evaluations and Clinical Supervision are not covered by insurance.
Good Faith Estimate (GFE)

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the cost of services. We will provide you with this document prior to your first session.
Telehealth Policy

Sessions may be conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video platforms.​

Clients are responsible for securing a private, distraction-free space.​

Technical issues will be addressed promptly, with alternative contact options available.​

Informed consent for telehealth must be completed prior to services.
Legal & Ethical Obligations

Immigration evaluations are clinical assessments, not therapy.​

Evaluations aim to document mental health history and symptoms relevant to legal cases.​

No guarantee is made regarding the outcome of any legal proceedings.
Termination of Services

Nonpayment occurs.​

Client behavior is inappropriate, threatening, or dishonest (e.g. malingering)

Services are no longer clinically appropriate or effective.​

At the clinician’s professional discretion.
Social Media & Electronic Communication

To protect client privacy, no friend or follow requests will be accepted from clients on social media.

Email and text messages are to be used for administrative and scheduling purposes only.

Clinical matters will not be discussed over email, text, or social media.
Emergencies & After-hours Support

Sájvva Clinical Services does not offer emergency services.
